✈ About us: We believe that aviation will be electric and we need to make this transition happen as soon as possible. Beyond Aero is making long range electric aircraft possible using hydrogen-electric propulsion. Our first aircraft is a zero emission private aircraft, designed for hydrogen propulsion.
In order to strengthen our Engineering team we are looking for a Lead Performance Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
✈ Subject: Aircraft performance Lead or Lead Flight dynamics
Your role will consist in:
- Preliminary Overall Aircraft Design and Aircraft performance model:
- develop methods and tools to improve the mission profile model to allow new vehicle flight Dynamics and Aircraft Performance analysis.
- Execute flight mechanics aircraft simulations and in depth analyze the results
- Execute trade studies to comply with performance requirements
- Analyze aircraft mission and point performance
- Develop a new flight mechanics model and vehicle simulation tool for the overall aircraft
- Weight distribution and center of gravity
- model update to feed mission profile tool.
- New tool development.
Job Requirements
✈ About you
Desired skills and qualifications
- Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering;
- 5+ years Engineering experience and at least 3y in Flight Dynamics and Physics modeling activities.
- Experience in flight dynamics and mechanics, flight control system is an advantage
- Experience on building performance models
- Good Programming knowledge: Matlab/Simulink, C/C+, Python, JAVA, C#, Unix/Linux
- EASA CS-23 or CS-23 regulation
- Piloting technics, PPL Private Pilot Licence is a nice to have
- Ability to work in virtual teams
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English

You will be working at Beyond Aero office in Toulouse, France. Partial remote working is possible.
